About European Future Structures
Veldeman Structure Solutions is a world player in the design, production, sale and rental of aluminum and steel framed fabric structures. Their structures are modular, easily expandable, relocatable and the ideal solution for commercial and military aircraft hangars and shelters.
Their structures can be designed as a temporary hangar for aircraft maintenance on the spot or as a permanent hangar solution from a sun shade type up to a hangar equipped with doors, HVAC, lighting and insulation. Our solutions can bear high wind and snow loads, which enables their use at the most harsh locations in the world. The combination of the modular design and the use of fabric results in a unique frame which is more weight efficient, requires less heavy installation equipment, less transport and is easier/quicker to erect than traditional buildings.
Based on its experience, Veldeman is considered as one of the market leaders in the supply of rapid deployment shelters and (semi-)permanent military hangars. Their shelters are used on a global basis and fulfil in an efficient way the needs of the military users. The shelters are designed to be air transported and can be erected without any heavy equipment, labor only. Full accessory packages, including aircraft and personnel doors, lights, ventilation and HVAC systems, are also available.
Veldeman has provided shelters for UN, NATO, US Air Force, Royal Australian Air Force, Canadian Air Force, Chilean Air Force, Indian Air Force, Belgian Air Force, etc. Veldeman has a high-tech research and development department, a dedicated project business unit, an in-house fabric and metal manufacturing department and its own maintenance department. Next to the Belgian headquarters in Bree, Veldeman has a branch in the US and sales offices in Chile and in India. Founded in 1970, Veldeman has 45 years of experience with fabric structures and can satisfy the most demanding customers worldwide.
