MMF Industry Day event planned for June 19-20 in Capellen (Luxemburg)

Planning is underway for an NSPA Industry Day to provide an overview of future support In-Service-Support requirements for the Multinational Multi-Role Tanker Transport Fleet (MMF).

This event will be organized at NSPA in Capellen, Luxembourg on 19 or 20 June to provide participating industry with information about the project. This event is neither a prequalification nor a solicitation conference, but an opportunity for industry to learn how NSPA intends to manage future MMF In-Service-Support and an invitation for industry to offer its views on shaping the way ahead.

The MMF project was initiated by the European Defence Agency (EDA) in 2012 and the Organisation Conjointe de Coopération en matière d’Armement (OCCAR) will manage the acquisition as the NATO Support and Procurement Agency’s Contract Executing Agent. The acquisition phase was launched in July 2016. NSPA exercises the NATO ownership of the fleet which currently totals 8 ordered aircraft and will be responsible for the life-cycle management of the fleet.

More information will become available here.
